Extensive repair and rehabilitation work will be taking place throughout 12 homes – this Saturday May 14th, on National Rebuilding Day, examples of the types of projects being completed include – painting, plaster repairs, minor plumbing, replacing handrails, repairing flooring, drywall repair and installation, new lighting, the installation of several accessibility modifications and assistive devices (e.g., wheelchair ramp construction, grab bars), porch repairs and installations, water heaters, and new appliances just to name a few.

“As the nation’s leading nonprofit serving homeowners at the poverty line, our network is dedicated to not only rehabilitating homes, but by doing so, simultaneously preserving communities that are in danger of deterioration,” said Lynnea Katz-Petted, Executive Director, “RTGM positively impacts the lives of deserving homeowners by making it possible for them to remain in their homes.”
