Rebuilding Together Greater Milwaukee's Rebuilding Day will be held on Saturday, May 17th.  The unskilled volunteers join with skilled trade people, painting, cleaning, and doing carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.

Rebuilding Together Is In The News

Rebuilding Together, Lowe's Announce $1 Million Partnership
Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation (LCEF) today announced a $1 million grant award to Rebuilding Together, the  nation's largest volunteer-driven home rehabilitation organization.  As part of this partnership, Rebuilding Together will use the grant to complete home repairs for low income families nationwide.  The partnership goal is to complete 100 projects in one year.

Potawatomi Grants $50,000 to Rebuilding Together Greater Milwaukee for Low Income, Elderly and People with Disabilities (.pdf) 
Announced today by Lynnea Katz-Petted, Executive Director, Rebuilding Together Greater Milwaukee has received a $50,000 grant from the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation to provide programming for free home repairs in Milwaukee County that will allow low-income, elderly and disabled persons to live safely and independently.

HSBC and Rebuilding Together Announce New $725,000 Partnership to Rehab and Repair Homes
The company's work between August 22 through August 31 is the first initiative of a new $725,000 partnership the financial services company announced today with Rebuilding Together, the nation's largest non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of homes for low-income families and others in need.

Rebuilding Together and MPTF Partnership – Celebrities Taking Care of Their Own
The Motion Picture and Television Fund (MPTF) partnered with Rebuilding Together to launch their “Taking Care of Our Own” program in Southern California. Jodie Foster, Thora Birch, Xzibit, and Sid Ganis were among the celebrities who showed up to help kick off the day.
